We do not take reservations, and service is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are planning to visit with a large group, we are always grateful for a friendly heads up by email!
We do strive to have both a gluten-free and a dairy-free option available each day! If you have sensitivities, just ask and we'd be happy to let you know what we have on hand. For serious allergies or autoimmune disorders, definitely let us know prior to ordering!
The hike is approximately 6.5 km one way, with 700 m of elevation gain. Most visitors take between 2 and 3 hours to reach the teahouse, depending on pace, trail conditions and how often you stop along the way. Please visit our Getting Here page for more detailed hiking information.
Because we spend most of the summer up at the cabin and only occasionally hike out for supplies, we are not always in the best position to comment on current road or trail conditions.
