Pinnacle Meadows (formerly Diana Lake Lodge) is perched at 2100m on the west slopes of the Rockies—halfway between Golden and Invermere. The Diana Lake Trail brings you almost right to our doorstep, where the treeline fades away and alpine meadows begin.

Diana Lake itself is nestled in a glacial cirque less than a hundred metres from the cabin where a prominent headwall dominates the skyline. Once the snow melts, the meadows above the cabin fill with wildflowers and the ridges offer wonderful hiking.

Starting in the summer of 2026, overnight stays at the bunkhouse will be self-catered.

ABOUT

The Cabin

The cabin was built in 1956 and is the original building at Diana Lake.

It serves as our dining room and kitchen as well as the base for our Teahouse Operations.  The cabin offers a fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans, a propane range (four-burner stove and oven), running water and all of the cookware and tableware you need for a trip in the backcountry.

Booking Details
We only take bookings for one group at a time, so if you're staying with us, you'll have the entire bunkhouse to yourself. To keep things simple, we charge a flat nightly rate regardless of group size. That said, groups are capped at 10 people due to limited space in the cabin.

Overnight guests have access to the cabin in the morning until 11 AM and in the evening starting at 4 PM. During the day, the cabin is open to the public during teahouse hours—but you'll have the bunkhouse to yourself.
